Dearest (diary name) ---?

Hey! Haven’t seen you in a while! What have you been up to? Kidding, you’re a diary, of course you can’t physically do anything.

I have been thinking about the mysterious letter and I did my research. Did you know how much you can find about a person just from seeing their handwriting? I noticed the way the words are written; rounded and legible letters with a moderately heavy pressure. That handwriting obviously belongs to someone that is trustworthy.

And just like this, I decided to head into the adventure of my lifetime! I prepared my luggage and told my parents about the trip. They were pretty excited (curious, don't you think?) and wished me the best of luck in Ireland.

“See you soon” I said to mom and dad when they left me at the airport today. Waiting for the departure, I did some research on Ireland. It has a rich mythology, but not much of a rich gastronomy. Why must everything involve potatoes? And I shouldn’t worry about dangerous animals: Ireland is snake-free, unlike India, where we have many venomous species. Anyway, sounds like a very exciting country, I can’t wait to set foot in it! Can’t wait to meet you, Ireland!

…I’m getting sleepy, my friend. This plane ride will be pretty long – almost 13 hours – and I think I’ll be very tired when I’ll arrive in Dublin. So I’d better get some sleep. Good night!
